 Born
in the city of Miami, Florida, and raised in
the city of Warner Robins
Georgia, David has always had a passion for
creativity in whatever form was presented to
him. Whether it's paper and pencil, or a PC
and wacom tablet, David has turned his love
of creativity into a career spanning more
than a decade so far.
After several years of back-breaking
blue-collar jobs, and the love and support
of his family and wife Jennifer, David
decided to pursue his passion for creativity
by enrolling at the Art Institute of Atlanta
in Graphic Design. It was there David found
his true artistic passion. While passing by
an edit suite one day in his second quarter,
he happened upon some seniors in the 3D
animation department and saw the amazing
animations they were making. After talking
with them about the 3D animation department,
David was hooked. He immediately switched
majors and began his studies for 3D modeling
and animation. He graduated in 1998 with
academic honors as well as receiving the top
portfolio award for his class.
Over the years, the fortunes that be led
David to many different and challenging
projects such as a 3d modeler, animator,
graphic designer, illustrator, video
producer, multimedia designer/producer,
print designer and web designer/developer.
He's had the fortunes of working with some
of the best and brightest in the industry
which taught him a lot, as well as having
worked with some of the lowest of the low
which taught him just as much.
In early 2008, David decided to refocus and
take more direct control of his life, career
and most important, the relationships with
his family. Working now as a full-time
illustrator in Warner Robins, Georgia, this
new opportunity allows David more time to
dedicate to his wife and 2 children, as well
as more direct control of the types of
creative projects he accepts, ever reaching
for the ultimate goal for his self: balance.
